Claremont High School (CHS) is located in Southern California about thirty miles east of Los Angeles. Nestled in the San Gabriel Valley and the City of Claremont, Claremont High School is within walking distance of the consortium of seven Claremont Colleges.

Claremont High School serves approximately 2,400 students.  The school is proud of its rich diversity, which is noted in over twenty different languages spoken.  The student community is approximately 42% Hispanic/Latino, 34% White, 11% Asian and Pacific Islander, 5% Multi-Racial, and 4% African-American. Claremont High School serves approximately thirty-five orthopedically handicapped students from the Claremont Unified School District and surrounding districts.
